Its here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Its here. ts here. Okay I think thats enough. Today is the day! The day that these 2.5 months of working almost everyday all day. It was all coming to today. I got to work at 8am to work on sewing the goodie bags. The models came at 10am and we had to make changes to some of the outfits and add things like snaps and tacking some of the linings to the outside fabrics to make sure it would all look good on the runway. After finishing those little things which actually took hours. It was time to head over to where the show was being held, a gallery/ coffee shop nearby.
(The space)

Like 2 blocks. We walked down the street pushing 2 garment racks of all the clothes, with irons and ironing boards.

Then I had to run out and get flowers, then we had to work on getting the appetizers put together, the space set up, the models choreographed, rehearsals, put outfits together, get all the models to hair and make up.

It was really chaos, and it was so funny for me to be the person being told what to do. Because Ive gotten used to Paperdolls where I was the one making all the decisions, so it was odd to the be the one ordered around, and without final say. Camilla was little overwhelmed.
(Me sneaking my lunch during rehearsal)

But by 6pm, the models had the walk down, the outfits were together and organized, the dj had everything set, the place looked great. And all we had to do was reiron everything and prepare ourselves for the show. While others drank free martinis and socialized before the show.
I was supposed to be videoing the show but Camilla really needed me backstage and I wanted to be backstage in the excitement anyway. So I got Izabelle to video tape, while I helped dress. The show started and 20 minutes later it was over. Everything went great backstage during the show, it wasnt that hectic. And from what I hear the collection looked beautiful. I hope it did. I havent seen the video or pictures yet but for those of you who want to check it out a video and pictures should be up on this site soon... http://six-magazine.co.uk/2011/08/12/six-magazine-supports-camilla-wellton/. So you can check there. :) Or if I get any I will post them. All in all we had 10 models, 30 looks. Which is a lot. I didnt know we had that much, and there was some stuff we didnt end up using. Really its just such a weird thing to work so many hours on something and then have the show last 20 minutes and then its over thats it. That was it.

(Models coming in from the final walk)

The show was over and I was so happy. Our hardwork had paid off. The fashion shows are what makes you realize how much you love what you do after so much work. But we still had to clean up, but not before enjoying a free martini and taking some final pictures of the team of us.

(We have too much fun together)

(And Camilla had an interview)
Then we cleaned the place and took everything back to Camillas studio. Then Diana and I were ready to go out and enjoy our night of freedom. We took all of our stuff back to my place and Eva's friends from Israel were there so we talked with them for a while and then headed downtown. But unfortunately we got there too late and the cover charge was insane. Basically we just walked around looking for a place to, she is only 18, so can only get in at certain places, and even 21 is young here most places are 23. Which is so crazy. Long story short we just kinda walked, sat, sung around the city goofing off but not actually going to any bar or club and around 2am we were both ready to fall asleep right then and there so we headed home after a long, but wonderful day. A night of sleep with no alarm! How wonderful a thing it is!

(I know this post was long but it was 2 months in the making so you had to expect it ;) )
